— Refer you to a reputable lender to assist in assessing your financial situation & provide a pre-approval letter to best determine what you can afford.

— Arrange community tours and schedule to view properties (i.e. house hunting!)

— Provide a comparative market analysis for the homes you're interested in

— Assist in the writing & negotiating a competitive purchase & sale agreement.

— Thoroughly coordinate all necessary steps after mutual acceptance, communicating with you consistently throughout the process to reach closing (assisting with inspection, appraisal, etc.)

— Work with the escrow company to ensure all needed documents are in order and completed in a timely manner.

— Facilitate a final walkthrough of the home and transfer of keys once we officially close & receive recording numbers!

Jaclyn helped us with a house search, while we were mostly out of state. We had some very particular goals from our Gig Harbor property which must have made it seem like trying to find a needle in a haystack. To top it off, during the time of our search, it was a very competitive market - with most homes getting multiple offers. Jaclyn had patience with us from the get-go, even though we didn't make our first offer for something like 9 or 10 months! One of the things I appreciated the most was that Jaclyn always called things as they were - if something wasn't quite right she would surface it clearly for us - this is so important when you are buying a property from out of state. When we were able to be in Gig Harbor in person, Jaclyn was also there for us as well -- and when we needed to be remote, Jaclyn was our "boots on the ground", and we made amazing progress via video tours and other technology assists. Growing up in the construction world, I have always taken a liking to the process of building a home. My father is a local builder in Gig Harbor for over 40 years and my husband is now carrying on the family business. Their expertise in the field has helped tremendously as I serve clients through finding vacant land and the feasibility process. Navigating utilities, building regulations, costs of construction, etc. all contribute to the intricacies of building a home. I am well versed in all things land, construction and love the entire process from the ground up. Working with an agent who is understands the challenges and what to look out for is imperative.
